Tiina is an Exercise Physiologist who works at Firstbeat as a Master Trainer.
Growing up as a skier, Tiina spent 4 years cross-country ski racing and later 4 year coaching at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. After moving back to Finland, she found her way to Firstbeat after several years in the field of overtraining and heart rate variability studies at the Research Institute for Olympic Sports and the University of Jyväskylä.
To maintain a good balance in her own life, she enjoys the outdoors – kayaking, hiking, xc-skiing, and escaping to her cabin in the woods.
Toby Murray, Firstbeat
Toby has a successful track record in improving operational excellence and establishing sales processes for startup and growth businesses internationally. As Head of Sales at Firstbeat Technologies he oversees a team focused on improving resilience, health, wellbeing and enabling customer success for our direct customers and partners globally. In his role, he works with colleagues to implement growth and secure new business across multiple markets. He is an experienced management, sales, business development and product development specialist , always focusing on generating solutions and value.
Maria Perkola, Firstbeat
Maria has worked in customer facing roles since starting a summer job in Finland at a fresh produce stall at the age of 15. Moving to the UK in 2009, she completed her degree in Psychology (BSc). Since then she has gained experience in different roles within service industry settings. As luck would have it, the opportunity to join a Finnish company allowed her to utilise her experience and language skills, and she joined the Firstbeat family in 2018 as Customer Success Manager. After two years, Maria became head of the function, and is now involved in developing and maintaining a high level of service for our B2B customers and Partners globally.
